ABOUT

Shannen Garza Hakim is a diversity and inclusion social scientist that spent 10 years at various non-profit organizations creating and executing programs that helped Black and Brown students to have access to college, internships, and professional skills training. She has studied various forms of art since high school and used these skills to transition out of her non-profit career in 2020. Through Womxn on the Moon, Shannen uses unique jewelry designs to highlight underrepresented communities, enhance representation of her identities in fashion, and diversify the e-commerce world.
