These groups supply vital resources and information, helping to connect community members in need with those who can offer assistance. In emergency situations, they can also help to quickly disseminate information and mobilize the community to provide aid.
The Rise Times is another innovative resource that helps to fill a similar needs-gap in the LGBTQIA2+ community, offering a platform for individuals to connect, share, and support one another outside of Facebook.
